Check out the schedule! Thursdays at 5:15, we now have class for all levels. An “all levels” class means that I will try to give you options on how to keep it gentle and throw in plenty of optional moves to challenge those who want to be challenged! Beginners are welcome.
In case you missed it, we recently added 11:00am classes on Mondays and Wednesdays, and also a 6:00pm on Tuesdays. In just a couple of weeks, we should have 5 reformers, so we can accommodate 1 more person per class. I’m doing my best to keep up with your motivation to do Pilates! Thank you.
Hello friends of FlowMotion! I’d just like to acknowledge the fact that it’s been one heck of a summer. I can’t thank you enough for filling up so many of our classes, and I want you to know how inspired I am by your motivation. I’m never quite sure whether to expect busy times to stay that way, but I sure like to think that they will, and I’d like to be prepared in case they do.
Christa will stop teaching her classes after the month of October in order to take the time she needs before heading to Ethiopia with her husband for the Peace Corps. I’m very excited and happy for Christa and Paul! Unfortunately for Bishop, this means the departure of one of our outstanding instructors. It’s all part of the Flow…
FlowMotion’s Pilates teacher training will commence this fall, and hopefully we will soon have more quality teachers to add to the schedule. However, I am also considering the idea of financing another reformer (if I think I can fit it in the studio!). The idea is to accommodate a few more clients every week, and keep the prices low.
I’d really love to hear from you about ideas & suggestions regarding anything at all at the studio. Send me an email or tell me in person, or leave me a note if you’d rather stay anonymous. Your feedback is welcomed.
Look for FlowMotion’s newest team member, Jose Pizana’s classes on the schedule!
Tap Dance – Tuesdays – 7-8pm
Belly Dance – Wednesdays – 7-8pm (beginning Aug. 5th)
Modern Jazz – Thursdays – 7-8pm
Jose is an El Paso, TX native and has been dancing for 17 years. He trained with Mary Allaire from Austin, TX, and attended Oklahoma City University. He’s choreographed routines for the Mt. View Strutters, performed in Grease, Viva El Paso, CATS UTEP dinner theater, and Guys and Dolls with Playhouse 395 here in Bishop.
Ok, here it is! I still have some work to do, of course, and because this type of thing is definitely not my cup of tea, it may take me a little while to really get it right. Anyway, to view the online scheduler, which used to be a red link, click the blue link that says “Sign up for a class.” If that doesn’t take you to the screen you’re used to seeing, just click the “Classes” tab.
Also, this page will be a lot more active from now on, so stay tuned for updates, announcements, and whatever kind of tid-bits I feel like sharing! Thank you for your patience through the changes, as always.
Hi friends, I just want to warn you that I’m giving the website a make over, and I’m talking complete make over! One of these days, hopefully within the next week, flowmotionpilates.com will pop up on your screen looking totally amazing! Cleaner, simpler, and less purple. Once it’s up and I have a chance to work out some kinks, I’d love to hear any feedback you have.

Would you love a good reason to stop rolling your IT band?
Do you have a foam roller collecting dust in your home?
In this workshop you will learn how to use the foam roller for exercise and for self-massage. You can create full-body, at-home workouts or routines to therapeutically troubleshoot problem areas (neck & shoulder tension or tightness in the hips). Both the deconditioned and the athlete will have something to learn. We will be making a video that you will later be able to access for home review.
Foam rollers will be available for purchase.
